Southmoor Park is a Denver Neighborhood in Southeast Denver. Its boundaries are from Hampden to the north, Belleview to the south, Happy Canyon and Dahlia to the west and Tamarac to the east. It is located in the revitalization and redevelopment of Tamarac Square Shopping Center. It has become a very active & popular shopping center with Whole Foods, Target, office buildings, hotels, restaurants, theaters, & etc. Southmoor Park is located north of the Denver Tech Center, convenient for locals. The development began in the mid-20th century, reflecting the post-World War II boom that transformed many American cities. Initially designed as a suburban enclave, Southmoor Park has grown into a bustling yet serene community. The neighborhood's development was spurred by its strategic location along major transportation routes, including Interstate 25, which facilitated easy access to downtown Denver and the Tech Center.
